Our mission
Quebec manufacturing companies are subject to pressures from all parts: globalization with the competition of the emergent countries, quick variations of the exchange rate, foreign protectionism, deregulation, phenomenal growth of the energy and metals costs, and other factors.
In this context, CASI has a particular importance: by combining their volume purchases, the members may increase their negotiating power.
CASI gave itself a mission: to help its members decrease their purchase costs for goods and services in order to realize savings and thus improve their profitability.

Our history
CASI was founded in 2002 by some chemical, cosmetical and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Ever since it was founded, it has had a constant growth which accelerated considerably in 2005, thanks to the collaboration of Pole Quebec Chaudière-Appalaches where 2 industrial cells were added (composite and plastic) and in 2006 with the addition of the furniture and wood frame cells.
CASI could always count on the support of the ministère du Développement économique, Innovation et Exportation of the Province of Quebec.
The daily management of the cooperative was first ensured by Mr. Antoine Courdi and then by Mrs. Andrée Crevier. Mrs. Marie-Lou Lafrance took charge of it after Mrs. Crevier. From April 2007 to June 2010, Mrs. Manon Cloutier assumed the role of Administrative Director with her assistant, Mrs. Diane Quirouet. Mr. Andre Plouffe acted as special advisor to the management until December 31, 2007. Mr. Pierre Caron was hired as General Director on December 18, 2007.
